I suggest you take anything a Mint Customer Rep tells you with a grain of salt. 99% of the time they don't know what they are talking about. In March one told me the Bison 2 roll sets would be gone in a month. We are now going into the 3rd month since and they are still available.

Sometimes the customer service is right on the money. In 2001 the guy on the phone told me that the mint had only sold about 6,000 of the Capital Visitor Center $5 gold pieces in unc. He also told me they only had 600 left and that would be it. I knew that the design was a dog but with a mintage that low the price would jump. I bought 20. Wish I bought all they had.

It's too bad demand doesn't dictate what the mintage will be for all these US Mint products. Instead, they said the mintage will be 75,000 and they'll drag the sale out until they're all sold! Since we're in a bull market, I can see plenty of these sets available down the road.
