Oh no...not the PCGS old "greed" label again!

interesting ebay auction for 1879 Morgan in an "old greed label."
lol. Seller try to say something subconsciously? And this isn't the first time I have seen this old greed label either. A new trend?

    I know. But I didn't want to dump on this guy too badly. At least he spelled "old" and "PCGS" right.

    Looks like a plain old typo, but forget that, That Morgan has some sweeeeeeeet MINT LUSTER! yummmmm................

    I'd forgive the typo only the D and N on the keyboard are sort of far apart...and for those that type....different hands too. No this seems to be 100% freudian. image

    PCGS "greed" label coins always bring more money.

    I think the seller did it with intent- got all of us lookin at the coin- seems to be well worth his open price as well.

    The old greed labels do have that potential for upgrade- would this coin be a candidate to go 66? that would depend on the day graders that dave seems to be using these days- ya know the ones that come rollin in on the bus from Chula Vista!

    I do just like green holders-- but more than 95% of the time there's a reason the coin hasn't been resubmitted. And a lot of those Morgan DMPLs and PL's in old greedy holders won't even grade that anymore. It's almost become an urban myth these days about upgrades. Funny postimage
