How difficult is it to find coins with pastel toning?

I find light, multicolored, pastel toning to be very attractive - especially on a very lustrous coin.

For you toning enthusiasts, how scarce is pastel toning? How high on your list is it as far as desirable qualities are concerned?

It's my favorite too. I love the look of soft pastel colors with smooth transitions between shades (and no blotchy spots or cracks in between).

A 3-Cent nickel with lovely pastel color I liked so much I took too many pictures of it.

This is the only pastel toner I have. The pic doesn't do it justice the colors are much more prevelant but just as soft and pastel in real life.

Yeah, I used to like the pretty pastels on a coin. Tastes change. Now, they just don't appeal to me much anymore.
I got to have "Crusty" Man style coins.

I don't think it's too difficult to find nice pastel toning on a lot of denominations including Jefferson Nickels, Merc Dimes, Roosevelts, Frankies etc.......I don't care for all of them...but there are plenty of nice examples out there. A few of which have already been posted

Here is a nice Morgan I bought raw a few months back.....it's going off to NGC anyday now
