1900 O/CC MM wear

Since the CC under the O is so fine, how much wear does it see? In other words, is it possible that the same amount of definition is still left on a VF example as compared to an UNC example?

You will still be able to see some definition, the same amount, I don't know, I guess it would depend on the wear. Even in vf, there can be a lot of details left around the mm.

A VF will have more dirt obscuring the mintmark. There are several different O/CC reverses. Some have a strong CC, some weak, some just a few parts of it.

Wear would occur from the top down and not the bottom up so I would expect the CC remnants to remain pretty much as is until the circulation wear started to really affect the "O" since it is much thicker than the CC is.
