Morgan Dollar Collection

Today I had a quick look at the majority of a high grade Morgan Dollar set. It was heavy to carry!

I guess I really am a type set kind of guy. I looked through the coins and was most impressed with the high grade coins with a bit of rim toning. I liked the cameo ones too. I could tell which ones were key dates without looking at the dates because they were lower grade than the others. They were low MS and 2 AU coins.

Anyway it was a fun day. I'd guess I had over $200,000 worth of Morgans pass through my hands today.

I've never had the pleasure of going through a complete Morgan set, sounds like a wonderful experience, Carl.

I've never seen an entire set either, but I'm 50% of the way there, so I guess my set is 1/2 as heavy as the one you carried!

Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
