No. Some of the secondary sellers (amazon, abebooks) sometimes put crazy prices on specialist books hoping someone will step up to the plate. Usually with patience you can get a much better deal.
Book dealers are prone to putting very high prices on anything they can't find many listings of on the web. Know your books! Many of these supposedly high price books will have trouble even getting a bid on eBay...and I know since I have sold about 300 books (some numismatic, most on art and photography) on eBay since December. My books all started very low and even with that some still did not sell, though others did reasonably well. I just bought a numismatic book on eBay this week for 1 cent!
This is one of my pet peeves. Some people put crazy prices on used books. I don't know why. As someone else indicated, you can always find the book for a cheap price if you just search around a little bit. I have bought books for a song with a little bit of searching.

$150.00! Yikes! No, that cannot be right. I found one on AbeBooks.com for $40.00, although it was the first edition, and not the current edition (2nd edition). Check with the numismatic book dealers like Charlie Davis or John Burns. You should be able to do much better than $150.00.
