What's up with the 1956 Mantle in this Mile High Auction?

The 1956 Mantle in this set looks trimmed, yet it's in a PSA 8 holder (albeit a very old holder). Is this a scanner malfunction?

PS - Never mind. I just noticed the holder from the checklist looks like it's overlapping the Mantle.

That has first type flip I believe with the lines through the zeros. Who knows if that would grade 8 today?

I think that's just another slab overlapping Mick a little bit. A card with no left border would never grade 8 NQ.

You can definitely see the holder next to it covering the left border.
