Can anyone use $25 in PSA grading ?

Hey guys

Just one week left before greenzap takes control over the online payment market. They are launching on June 1st and if I read their emails correctly, if you haven't preregistered by June 15th. Free sign up will drop to $10. for all new preregistered members. So sign up now and they will add $25 to your account for free just for signing up. no creditcard or checking info required. You just need a valid email address, you don't even have to give your phone number. You can use that free money for PSA grading. Also when you share your info with friends and family members and they preregister you get $5. added to your greenzap account. The more people you add, the more your account will increase and you can spend all that free money on PSA grading and make Joe Orlando very happy.

If Greenzap is true to their word and add the funds to our accounts on June 1st. I will be able to submit alot more cards in bulk to PSA with free money. It will be like getting all the grades for free. Infact everyone who signs up will have free money to spend on grading. Now isn't that cool.

click here for your free $25. then spend it on PSA

Take a chance, the greatest risk is not taking one!

A week? I don't think so. They might overtake PayPal in 5 years if they do everything right and if PayPal does everything wrong.

I think the best thing that could come out of this is that PayPal perceives a threat and thus fixes its problems and cuts its fees.

I agree that Paypal is going to have to cut their fees and that this will come out of Greenzap arriving on the seen. I think that Greenzap may take off but only time will tell that.

Actually paypal did the same promotion when they were just getting started.
People received 5 bucks for each new person that they got to sign up for it.

Of course there was nothing like paypal back then, so they had the market to themselves.
Now eBay owns paypal and they're both so solid that I don't see how anyone new can offer much competition.

I've never heard of greenzap. Sounds like a weed killer.
  • I hope it isnt a scam I signed up 3 months ago. I dislike ebay , so I hope it go's well for them and they give Paypal a run for the money. And we the consumers see some lower prices!

I bet this thread is gone tommorrow, but - the link takes you to "Jery Lee's Greenzap Site". How convenient.

The whole setup looks unprofessional as it is. Rewardz? Accountz? What is this, PayPal Xtreme? No thanks.

Greenzap sounds like a very weak brand name for an online payment center. Is anyone going to say, "I greenzapped him his money" (the way people use google and paypal in everyday conversation).

Looks like, in the link, it has been around since 1999 and still went nowhere?

There's nothing wrong or shady with trying to get a business off the ground. I'm not going to sign up because I'm happy with paypal, but there's nothing shady about a prelaunch promotion such as this- $25 is a pretty good deal, but I don't like the fact you have to deposit $100 into your account to get started. Actually, their business model isn't very competitive with paypal- no credit cards, only bank account and mail-in deposits & $1 fee per transaction for gold card holders. Even if it's a $5 transaction they're going to charge $1. At that rate they'll have their $25 back in no time.

Also, their website isn't done very efficiently. As someone who has done research on search engine optimization, their site will not hit their target audience in the search engines at all, which is how most large online businesses get a good percentage of their unique hits. Looks to me like this is a small-time operation throwing a line out in the water to see if it catches without any serious backing. In a way I'm doing the same thing with a business of mine, but I'm trying to make up for the lack of funding by maximizing everything else. I don't like how their focus is that Greenzap is for spending. Most people who have an online merchant account such as paypal use it as a convenient way to receive funds, rather than to send them. They're going after the spenders first which is a bad move. What's going to happen is they're going to have all these people sign up and they'll go to merchants saying "We have all these members who are ready to start spending!" and maybe sign up a few, leaving their members with a limited marketplace. What they're not understanding is that people don't look for places to spend money through their payment processor. In order to succeed they will need to hook up with an online marketplace like ebay or Amazon to have any success.
