Mile High Auction

The Mile High auction ends tonight and I was wondering if anyone here is looking to pick up anything from it?

I think this has to be the weakest offering Mile High has presented in at least 2 years.

Pretty nice hockey selection for once though. I can't believe the people bidding on the grade and not the card for the PSA 8 Sawchuk RC.. Looks like a 6 maybe a 7 with a ST and it's at just over a grand.. Interested to see what it will end up at.

I like the catalog, but I can't afford the cards. In fact I probably spend too much on this "hobby" as it is now.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
  • I just got outbid on my final winning bid this afternoon. the prices seem very strong since many of my bids were over SMR plus another 15% for fees.

I wonder what the GAI 9 38 Goudey Foxx will end at. Personally I think 50% over PSA 8 is about what its worth. or around 4,000. Its already well over that, despite a slight touch on one corner. Very sharp card though... we'll see.

    Speaking of Mile High....

Anyone a member of the Mile High Club?

I can't boast membership...but when I was 18, I was taking a bus trip from Detroit to Atlanta and did some stuff....well let's just say....I'm a member of the Mile Low Club!

  • Outbid on the '66 OPC Mantle PSA 8 and don't plan to bid again. With juice, the next bid is over $900. They come on Ebay about four times a year for about $750.
