Modern Payday: God Bless Hideo Nomo

Earlier this month I visited my local card store. The owner told me he was going out of business and everything was on sale.
At his suggestion I bought four boxes of '05 Fleer National Pastime for $50 a box. The boxes yielded many autos, some numbered, and a few Fleer inserts from past years.
I actually like this product, especially since the sales should bring about $200 in profit.

My new hero -

    Nice card Keith
How many total autos did you get in the 4 boxes? Congratulations! Love to pull the autos but I don't sell them - hard to part with them.

Nine total I think. There is a David Wright, and a few others left.
Just can't believe how much the Nomo and the Gwynn sold for.

    Thanks.

Actually the Nomo auto is popular in Japan, so I agreed to send it there also which paid off.

Buyer paid quickly and the card is in the mail tomorrow.

There are a lot of collectors in Japan. It's wise to open your ebay auctions to overseas sometimes.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

That's an amazing sale on that Nomo. I normally keep autos but for $275 I would sell FAST! Good job!

Wow - what is it with Nomo? Why do collectors in Japan pay so much for his cards, he is barely a blip on the MLB radar screen anymore...
