75 Topps Brett help

Just a quick question on G. Brett's card. On mine there is a blue spec (PD?) near the bottom border directly under the "r" in 3rd Base. I have jiggled it, and it appears to be on the card. Is this common? Because it obviously distracts from appearance, how come it did not get a PD?

What did you get for an overall grade? Seems that some graders will grade it 1 or 2 grades down instead of giving a qualifier.

It' a 7. IMHO, it was not bumped down.

I don't think one fisheye or mark means you'll absolutely get a PD qualifier. I don't own any PD cards, but I've seen non qualified cards that had a noticeable and detracting print defect.

PSA seems to have been quite forgiving of print defects on 1975 Topps at some point. Not sure if they still are. DSL had some 1975 PSA 9's on the Bay recently, some of them with one or more ugly fisheyes or other distracting printing flaws -- but none of them with qualifiers.

i bought a BVG pregrade 7.5 off ebay for 40 bucks 3 years ago....sent it to SGC when they had there registry special and before i switched to exclusively PSA for my sets.....it got an 8....i bought it cause it was perfectly centered without print defects.
