Several other cards that seller has for sale look suspect also, including the 1965 Mantle, which is also trimmed along the right edge... the 63 Mantle has been hacked too. There aren't even good trim jobs, they are pretty obvious.
The seller has a 59 Clemente that has a subtitle "Needs A PSA Grade Immediately"... which means he clearly knows about PSA and the added value of grading, and a quick look at the card shows that it would be a certain reject by PSA because it's a horrible miscut. This guy is clearing out garbage. Steer clear.
Notice the seller "minnesotatreasurechest." I don't have the time today to analyze this seller, but this appears from the name to be one of those consignment type companies. I hadn't seen this one before and the feedback is 100%, but I got stung once on a lot from one of these consignment type companies and I know someone else who did. The card quality was way below what the scan appeared to be. Nothing wrong with reputable baseball card dealers who sell cards on consignment - they'll point out the flaws in the card that a scan can't pickup. But these people who don't know baseball cards just scan the card as is and of course the scan of a bad card can sometimes look real good. Yes you'll receive what was scanned from these consignment companies, but just expect the card to be of much less quality than the scan. And again, in this case it's a worthless trimmed card.
Such a waste ... taking perfectly respectable EX and EX-MT cards, which have value, and slicing them into razor-sharp pieces of worthless cardboard.
It's hard to tell sometimes if the seller is a victim himself ... Bought a PRO or GEM card, cracked it out to send to PSA, had it rejected as trimmed, smacked his head, then yielded to temptation and put it out raw on eBay.

He's also got this nice looking Lou Brock.. Is this one trimmed?

I think with raw, one has to be real careful. There's only a few people that I might buy a raw card from.
Looks can be deceptive - can anyone guess why this card is a 6?

<< <i>Mike, perhaps because the grader looked at fifty gem mint 2003 cards just before that one? >>

This is one where the grader got is right IMO, the upper left corner is soft. On a good day, a weak 7? Perhaps.
