The 10p collection arrived yesterday. It brought memories of my youth when 10p bought you a phone call from a payphone or a sherbet dip

My wife mentioned a single dip of Haagen-daas set her back 3 quid last year....London....near the Tower I believe.....and I thought $5 for a half pound tub in the USA was bloody insane.

The big 10ps were great coins. They bought you a lot of telephone time (2p to dial the number, 10p to actually have a conversation).
