Jason Giambi.............................

What hell is it with Jason Giambi that he keeps popping up in literally every stinking pack of cards I buy? I'm not a very big buyer of unopenned packs, but I do sample 2-3 packs of most recent issues just to see what the cards look like and (hope) for a decent one or two. Today, I plopped down $3 for a pack of 2005 Crackerjack and wouldn't you know it, a Jason Giambi. I must have bought about 50+ unopenned packs from various issues between this year and last, and I've got about 40+ Jason Giambis' sitting in my drawer. This can't be a coincidence. I don't even like the guy and being a Red Sox fan, he's on my hate list even without the steroid fiasco.

Anybody else have this problem?

  • Typical overflooding of New York players, Boston is just as bad.

Well that wouldn't be so bad, except the only Yankee I ever seem to get is this guy (with the same goofy expression in all of them).

Evil empire or not, it was the first stadium I ever went to - the place is classic!

Must be a collation thing - they don't seem to put too many more than any other team?

I think its a cruel joke that they sent most packs with Yankee cards to the New England region image
    LOL of course Im kidding!
  • Yeah that could be. Wonder how many new cards with Aaron Boone in an Indians uniform are around here.

The Royals should have more than 3 players in each set. I think it's a big city thing, east coast thing. The Angels and Dodgers don't have their entire rosters in each base set.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
