65' Topps/Yaz question.

Just a question out of curiosity but are 65 cards really condition sensitive? I was looking through SMR and the POP report at Yaz cards and found a couple of things I don't understand. I saw that his 61 topps in a 7 is actually worth a little less then his 65 topps in the same grade. There are not quite as many 65 Yaz cards graded in total but the # of 7's is only about half that of the 61's(166 7's in 65 and 295 7's in 61). So are 65's in general more condition sensitive or is there something else I'm missing? I'm thinking about putting together a basic Yaz set together in 7 since I have the 61 and am looking at a raw that I feel should get a 7 as well, that's where this all started lol. Also, what I mean by I don't understand is the 61' is his second year card and obviously the 65 is his 5th. Is the little more value that the 65' has purely because of a lower POP? It never hurts to ask .
