My newest coin, 1916 RD cent

Fresh from the slow train from Whitlow. Slow not because of Whitlow but the Postal Service thinks 6 days is appropriate for priority mail. ARGH! But it's a beautiful coin and worth the wait!

It's a 65 in an old green holder so you know it's at least pretty stable.

It'd be nice to try to upgrade but I think I'll leave it be for now. When I saw it I knew I wanted it for my permanent collection.

I saw that beauty at whitlow last week...not bad at all! I hope to see more wheat cents added to their inventory in the future (as well as some 68fb mercs cuz I want to see what one looks like with the whitlow camera image)

That's a nice early Lincoln. By the images, which are very nice, I would grade the coin a nice, high end 65 with a slim shot at 66. It might be worth a try for an upgrade, but I would be inclined to leave it in its stable home if I owned it.

I would say it was properly graded. Too many little ticks for 66.
