Has anyone here dealt with this Brazilian vendor? I checked the website out, and found the prices extraordinarily high. Or is it just me?

    I have dealt with them several times and they have been thoroughly professional each time. The coins I have bought from them were free of problems usually found on coins from Brazil, especially cleaning. They are however very well-informed as to the true values of uncleaned, problem-free Brazilian coins, so don't expect any bargains. Sometimes you can get a decent value in one of their eBay auctions, but that's it.
