The "OC" Kiss of Death Qualifier

As I am sure many of you know, the "OC" qualifier can be the kiss
of death for an action. To be sure, for myself, I would NEVER bid on
a card that has an OC qualifier or any qualifier for that matter. I
wish there was some way to determine that percentage of sellers'
whose cards are "OC" actually state OC in the auction.

I'm sure all of you have seen auction where it will say "PSA 9" and
click on it only to see that it is a "PSA 9 OC." I suppose this is similar
to where an auction is advertised as "BGS 9" and you click on it only
to see that it is a "BCCG 9."

Maybe one solution would be for PSA to eliminate the qualifier program
altogether? I know this has been discussed on this forum already, but
I would greatly support this. PSA 9 OC? Forget it and knock it down
two rungs to a PSA 7.

This is just my ranting and raving after seeing a Montana and Rice
rookie listed as "PSA 9" when it fact that they were "PSA 9 OC." Have
a nice day.

I think a 9OC can be a great card. Also, they can sometimes be purched very inexpensively due to the qualifier.

I agree that not listing a qualifier in the auction title is annoying.
