L LEFT THE SELLER TWO NUETRAL FEEDBACK..BUT PERHAPS NOT RIGHTLY SO

On April 12th I bought 8 PSA graded cards from a repudible (sp?) Ebay power seller using a buy it now option. As with most of my buys I paid immediatily with Paypal. I live in the Virgin Islands and USPS takes an extra week or so to get here. ............So I will wait a month from the time I paid before checking on missing items. .....On May 12th I emailed the seller since package had not arrived, and asked for any info they could give me on my cards. It turned out that the cards arrived the next day, but I noticed the postmark was May 3rd, a full three weeks after I paid.......They never did respond to my email.

After thinking about the situation for a few days, I left them 6 positive feedbacks and two nuetral feedbacks. The two neutral feedbacks said....." cards shipped three weeks after paid.." and " no responce to inquiry email" One of the positive feedbacks I left said " I would buy from seller again."

Further the seller two days later left me my feedback (he being one of THOSE darn sellers who will not leave feedback until he gets feedback). He left me 6 positive feedbacks. The other two i did not get feedback on

.......but the story does not end there.....

Yesterday I was packing up some cards that I had sold to a fellow forum member here. I save some (maybe 20%) of the boxes from items that were sent to me for just such an occasion. I pulled out the packing material still in one of the boxes and low and behold I find $7.00 and a small handwritten note............The note said......." I am sorry for taking so long to ship your cards but i could not find one of the cards right away. I am refunding you $7.00 for your trouble."

It was only a fluke that i found the note and money. I plan on emailing the seller with a thank you........He still should have contacted me via email about the 3 week delay.

I do not really feel out of line in leaving the nuetral feedbacks.

What is your opinion?

knowing what you knew at the time is was justified. he should have communicated the delay to you. I wouldn't worry about it - sending him an email saying you just found the refund money is about all you can do now. the seller can add a follow up comment to your feedback if he wants to.

You did what you thought best at the time. Can a neutral be removed? You can say you pressed it by accident or something?
