Price for a real micro-O Morgan?

Local dealer here in Michigan saw the recent news about mis-slabbed fake Morgans
and took another look at his stock. He has a nice original VG/F 1899-O with the tiny mm
and was wondering about value.

Anyone help?

Thanks, Steve.

1899 micro-Os are very affordable ($25 or less) in VF and under grades; about $50-75 in XF; and $100-$200 for certified AUs and AU+. VAM 5 brings the most money, especially in AU, and although Mint state examples do exist, I've only seen one ever sold (PCI-61DM for $243... and I don't believe it was actually DM or Unc.)
    When in doubt, don't.

I have an 1899-O vam4 in BU, slabbed 61 I think. It's right there next to my 1896-O micro O.image

Wam98 - That is a cool looking Morgan. I love the puny mintmark. Anybody know the population estimates for the micro o in this date?
