Look what I found.

I just finished moving. I'm downsizing now that the kids are gone, and I found these in a closet.
I don't really remember keeping these cards because I thought I had sold my t-206 cards years ago. They are certainly not high grade, but nice nevertheless. This is the first "find" I have ever had even if they are my own cards.
I never have submitted this condition card to PSA, so wouldn't know what they would grade. My guess is PSA 3 or 4, is that correct? Should I grade them?
I also found a 1975 Topps Baseball Set in the same closet. I remember sorting a case into sets, but I thought I had sold all of those sets too. They are mint right from the case, but I have no idea how 1975 Topps are graded.null

I would strongly suggest to grade this small gems.
The HOF'ers should bring very nice prices even in low grade.
The mathewson is the "dark cap" variation and it should bring about 500 in PSA 4..psa 5 around 600 to 700 and anything above that over 1000+
The speaker should another 500 in PSA 4..
the "yellow" portrait chance should also be a couple of hundreds in PSa 4,same with the walsh, another couple of $100's right there, also the wadell as well, the Bender is also in this range, the jennings "one hand showing" should be about a hundred, same thing about the tinker etc etc.
My guess its around $3000...and thats a mild guess if any of the cards happen to have a rare back, then who knows.
if you get a PSA 5 or higher on a couple of cards you can also bring in way more than that. but thew condition looks more in line with PSA 3 and 4.
Not bad for something that you had basically lost for so many years!

I'm entitled to some free grading, so I might as well give it a try.
I have noticed some rather strong prices lately for midgrade HOF in the T-206
You might want to take that money and start another set, Give those poor REDMAN collectors a chance to catch up...LOL

I've already started 1966 Philadelphia football and 1963 Parkhurst hockey sets. The last thing I need to do is start a T206 set!

Topps Heritage
1957 Topps BB Ex+-NM

Did I leave anything out?
Mr. Tinker was my great uncle and I have a small collection of his cards, none are graded or in great shape, but they have a nice personal value to me. Remind me of the nights sitting on the porch with my Grandpa listening to stories about Musial, Dizzy Dean, Medwick, Moore, the Gas House gang and the great Cardinal teams of the 30's and 40's.
Completed 1974, 75, 77, 78, 79 and 80 Topps Baseball raw
if you have some time please share some of those stories!

Most were bought from SCD auctions, oldtimers will remember the auctions where we sent postcards with our bids. Some were bought at the annual collectibles show in Kansas City.
I remember selling my cards around 1995. For some reason these didnt get sold and I forgot about them. Funny thing is, I was sure I did keep a bunch of Cracker Jack cards, and I havent found those yet.
I distinctly remember showing my cards to Mr. Mint at a show, including a complete 1952 Topps set in excellent to mint condition. I ended up keeping that set and graded it in 1998. Most graded PSA 6 and 7 with just a few PSA 8's.
Most of my other cards were sold to a dealer who I can't remember his name but he was the first person I had seen measuring cards before he bought them. I thought he was pretty strange at the time, but turns out he was ahead of his time. I know I sold him a green background Cobb.
I can't really explain now how I could forget about still having the other T206 Hall of Famers. Seems pretty stupid.

I have over 200 bankers boxes full of junk to go through. Hopefully, I'll find the Cracker Jacks, and who knows what else. But after a year and seven months of moving, I'm going to take a little rest for awhile.
I will sell the T 206 cards. I will put them on eBay if noone here is interested. I'm not really looking to get top dollar, as I look at this as a windfall.
So if anyone is interested in one or more of the cards, contact me at rgold7000@aol.com.
Thanks to those that made inquiries.
