PCGS AU prices

Hi All,
Since there are several AU grades which are 50, 53, 55, 58 what are the level of grades does the PCGS price guide reflect?

    I believe it's 55 -- I seem to remember HRH answering this on the Q&A forum -- I'll double-check.

[Edit to add: Yes, it's 55.

That sure is a strange way to list prices, AU means AU55. This certainly conflicts with the Greysheet AU meaning AU50. I don't put ANY value on the PCGS price guide anyway.image
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

I don't put to much value on the PCGS Price Guide either, but the information is readily available, and its free.

So which price guide is more accurate?

i'd base value off of greysheets.... and expect to pay a nice premium over ask for very nice looking pieces...... and generally half way between au and ms-60 for au-58 pieces
