Where is the red on this RB cent?

nwcs

Can you find it?

mgoodm3

Not a lot of red there.

Cam40

wow some coin values are really plummeting.
scary

sellsatan

I see little winks of red on that coin (the rim at 6 o'clock on the obverse, the detail in Libby's hair). If it were mine and raw I would feel like that grade was a gift.

nwcs

I know that RB generally starts at 16% red or so but this is way too brown to be called red-brown. I know you can lighten the image till it looks quite red but I think it is probably quite dark in person.

Shamika

I'll bet you there's a lot more red than you'd think. Heritage does a poor job imaging copper.

DMWJR

I don't think NGC starts their RB spectrum at 16%. I'm thinking less. I have seen way too many brown copper coins in RB holders over there.

MrEureka

Where is the red on this RB cent?

All copper coins are red on the inside. If you doubt it, get out the exacto knife!

Numismanic

Can you see the red on this 1868 two center? It's graded PCGS MS65RB.

millennium

Lighten up the pic with their tool...you'll see the red...

ziggy29

Looks like almost full brown -- but remember, this *is* a Heritage picture.

ChuckC

Heritage's scans limit luster and toning; for all we know, this coin is a solid RB

EagleEye

Maybe RB stands for Really Brown.
