Converting SGC grade to PSA grade

Am I missing something? Setting aside the fact that PSA does not recognize "half-grades," is there any formula whereby an SGC score gets converted to a PSA score? I've been seeing a lot of this type of thing lately.

Sellers feel the need I guess to explain what a SGC grade would be equal to by the PSA 1-10 scale but hastily add the .5... eh... *shrug*
