1945 Netherland Freedom Medal NEWP

Celebration of the Nazi withdrawal from Netherlands 5 May 1945. The front shows Lady Freedom standing in broken barbed wire and manacles, sword raised. The wheat symbol is for the starvation. The reverse is the Lion crushing the German Swastika, at the top is “I will Maintain” and the Date.image

    With medals ,it depends on the day. This one was ebay $31.00. This is the first of this kind I have seen in years of looking. On another day it may have been much higher. Some of the real expert may have some better ideas of actual value.image
