I picked this up at a yard sale for $1 only for the fact it is now the oldest coin in my collection (or is it?) it has a stamp on the back side which leads me to think its a counterfeit, what do you guys think?

Yep, it's a reproduction of an Italian coin I believe. Tuscan I think, but I don't know for sure and haven't checked Krause.

Probably made in the 1960s. It's made of .800 silver though, so for a buck, you did just fine. Plus it look nice. Would probably bring 10 bucks or so on eBay.

very cool, its a heavy coin too, so thats what lead me to believe it was silver. Not bad for a buck i agree
