Large Cent Registry Set

In the 1839 slot, why won't the system take my 1839 large cents? These are variety coins but on the basic coin set the system should take any 1839 coin, right?

For the 1839 - 1857 set you need the 1839 Type of 1840 coin.

Thanks Keyrock! A Head of 1838 won't work? Or a Booby Head? It seems in a basic set any 1839 coin would work. ???

    As I missing something?

Spooly is right in my opinion. Any variety of the date should be acceptable. If I want to use a 3 legged buffalo nickel as my 1937-D, it should be allowed.
