The real question is what gives with your new icon? What the hell is that? Although I guess anything is better than a damn dirty Yankee.

Ten cent listing day last week. Joe's Vintage used to be Shoeless Joe's before the lawyers jumped in. He's a really good guy to deal with.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • Yea, he's nice if you like paying double SMR for anything decent pre-war...

Yea, what the hell is that icon softparade? looks like an old atari breakdancing dude with a crooked hat. Have you gone ghetto on us?!?!

huh? Joe's prices are pretty much right on the money. SMR does not give an accurate price for ANY pre-war card ....

    1420,

I was thinking the same thing!

If he was starting all these auctions at .99 cents you would be surprised at how close the ending prices would be to his current bins.

He is a great dealer and has a wise array of PSA inventory and his scans are awesome as well

One area that SMR is off, e.g., is the Turkey Reds (T3s) - they always go above SMR if graded by PSA.

    Dan
What the hell is that icon? Can you give me a blowup of it?

SMR is off on more vintage than it is correct on. Try and buy Wilson Franks, '36 Goudey's, Cracker Jacks, T205's, N28's, Leaf short prints, Dan Dee's. The list goes on and on. I wonder if it is more about limiting liability in transit than an actual price guide.

Does the estate of Shoeless Joe Jackson really care enough to go after Yanello? I didn't think the "Shoeless" tag was trademarked.

The Shoeless Joe name is indeed trademarked, along with a few others.
