eBay Feedback Question

I've wondered about this for a while. If it's true that someone can only give one (1) feedback that counts in the feedback total, does that mean that once someone gives good (or any) feedback, they can never "neg" you and have it count in the total? Somehow, that doesn't seem right.

2000 next to your name, that means 2000 different "unique" (Ebay took that word out) has left you a positive. The other total
which is below it (if you clicked onto your own feedback #) shows the grand total in positive received. That means if you bought 10
items from a seller, you can leave all 10 positive feedback, but only 1 "unique" point goes towards the # next to your ID. The other 9 goes (actually all 10 ten) goes to the grand total below that. You can come back a year later and buy from the same seller and give him more feedback, but it will not
count towards his unique number. You can however give him a negative and that will affect his unique #. That's why sometimes you see someone
with 2000 feedback next to their name, but their overall could be 8000+. Those are for multiple transactions dealt and/or from repeat customers.
This works the same for negatives. You can give someone 10 negatives for 10 transaction and all 10 will show up in the past month, past 6 months, and so forth, but only 1 will show up under "Members who left a negative" under your score. That number 1 is the unique number---you.
Excellent question! Thanks for posting
