1973-88 Football card sets..Hold on to or Sell??

I've got a complete run of Topps Football sets 1973-1988, is now a good
time to sell or should I put them back away for longer??
Your opinions are appreciated.
Thanks,
Smitty

If it were me, I would hold '73-'77 especially if high quality. Not sure how much $$ to be made with the years
after those. Just my 2 cents.

Depending on the condition, I would sell. All of the key rookies from those sets have peaked. Right now the hot football cards are from the mid-60's to 1972. The 1973 set is a tweener since it has the Franco and Stabler RC, but it is the first mass produced issue, so the upside is limited. There is some interest in the 75 Rookies, 76 Payton, and 81 Montana however the market has been flat or slightly down for a while.

If I were you, I would have the key rookie graded and sell the sets. Good luck.

I'm interested in the 1973 to 1978 sets if you decide to sell. Nm/Mt type sets to keep in raw form...
    Enjoy your collection!

I would also be interested in a few of those if in good condition....

I'm interested in a NM 73 FB raw set and a mint 88 football set. The others I already have (or have almost complete).
