How do I get rid of the dreaded stains

How do you get rid of the stains on the back of the 86-88 fleer basketball stickers. I think I read somewhere else that pantyhose would do the trick. I tried this to no avail. Any help please.

It worked on the back of my '86 sticker. It does take a good amount of time (5 minutes or so) to get it out. If the stain is thick and deep, it may not come out. I've tried pantyhose on three cards. It worked perfectly on two cards (completely removed, and graded later by PSA). On the third card, I didn't have as good of luck.

I tried to rub my cards with pantyhose once, but the girl whacked me with her purse and called the cops.

Cut your fingernails first. It's easy to slip and dent the surface of the cards. Also, butane works- it's odorless and comes out as a very cold liquid that quickly evaporates. Home Depot has it.

It's also highly flammable so don't smoke while doing it or you'll set your face on fire.
