The rules:
Answer the questions below, the closest with the correct answers will get the coins.
This will go until either someone guesses the correct information, or until 2000 hours Friday the 13th or May 2005.
Amount of guesses: You are allowed only one post, however, you can edit that post.
Something about the coins: These two coins were produced after 1965, they are both from the Phillie mint. The have been Artificially toned and will be surrendered only as educational/conversational pieces.
Questions:
1. I have two coins totaling 30 cents, one of them is not a quarter, what are the two coins?
2. Give me the two dates on the coins (I know total guess here but at least you all know it will be fare).
3. Tell me how the coins are AT'ed Be specific.
Good luck,
Ray

Alright, this is how I did it:
First I narrowed it down to the persons that got number 1 right:
Xpipe
Puttogether
Vegal
INKS
p&nt
Numismatics
MrSpud
Then I counted the years you were off between the actual dates of Nickel 2001 and Quarter 1982 and totaled them up and this is what I ccame up with...
Xpipe...................1996 = 5, 1992 = 10......Total 15 years off
Puttogether.........2003 =2, 2002 = 20.......Total 25 years off
Vegal...................1972 = 29, 1968 = 14.....Total 43 years off
INKS.....................2000 = 1, 2001 = 19......Total 20 years off
p&nt.....................1999 = 2, 1993 = 11......Total 13 years off
Numismatics.........1989 = 12, 1978 = 4.......Total 16 years off
MrSpud.................1976 = 25, 1982 = 0.......Total 25 years off
Since p&nt was a total of only 13 years off, he is our winner.
BTW the toning was done with a 30,000 btu space heater.
Congratulations, p&nt I will need an addy, thank you all for participating.

Thank you very much, I am still a bit limited and bouncing around on a mower is one of the things I can not do (See the mowing thread in the open forum). The wound has healed pretty well but there is still some local pain. I still get sick everything I eat something though.
Thank you,
Ray
