Does 55 Topps FB AA have a alternate centering standard?

ouch! All time classic card, but as a centering geek I would pass on this card even at 50% SMR.
Loves me some shiny!

The card is sitting crooked in the slab which obscures part of the top right border.
Blew up the scan and measured the left to right centering at approx 65/35 at the top.
Got similar results with the top to bottom centering.
and as you know, a card can be 70/30 and still qualify as an 8.
More than likely the card possesses tremendous eye appeal ...

<< <i>I think the card looks fine. Besides, the centering looks a bit off because the scan is off centered. That's the problem with trying to accurately grade a card via a photo or a scan. You need to examine the card up close and in person to really get an accurate grade.
