    Kuhl your bad lol

Is that reaction from T.O when he got hurt or when he found out they won't renegotiate his contract ?

Yea, Yea, Yea...maybe there's also a video clip around when ol' Michael Irvin's head got a closeup taste of the hard astroturf at the old Veterans Stadium. This and Irvin's injury were clean hits so no complaints.

But it's great seeing Cowboys fans desperate. No quarterback, a dinosaur for a coach, and a narcistic owner who was stupid enough to get rid of Jimmie Johnson who was the one who built that winning team of the early nineties. Jerry Jones has proven that on his own he knows nothing about building a winning NFL team. No doubt by far the worst Super Bowl head coach in NFL history was Barry Switzer who won a Super Bowl with Jimmie Johnson's team. The Cowboys will never again get to the Super Bowl with Jerry Jones owning the team. So start getting used to many more years of frustration and losing - HA! HA! HA!

Mark my words etched in stone - TO will be lining up at WR for the Eagles in the first play of the opening game this coming season.

Dallas owes 3 of those super bowl wins directly to the hershel walker trade - so cowboy fans should bow in reverance to the vikings any chance they can. And what, it's been a decade since the cowboys have sniffed the big game?

Philly and TO are going to square off for a long, long time...however, like Rosenhaus said on sportscenter today, let's not forget it's only may. TO will be in training camp, and will be playing for the eagles all year long.

I don't care what eagles fans tell you - they NEED Owens in the lineup...he makes them infinitely better, gives McNabb a viable long range target, and gives the other receives single coverages.

While the hit on Irvin was a clean one, it spoke volumes of the 'fans' in Philadelphia when they cheered him on as he lay motionless on the turf....real classy.

I do feel bad about that Axtell. It was sad to see Eagles fans acting in this manner. My apologies go out to Michael Irvin. Eagles fans really have admiration and respect for Michael Irvin and the Dallas Cowboys. I actually named my pet dog "Jerry" in honor of the future Hall of Fame owner, the great Jerry Jones. If us Eagles fans had to do this all over again when Michael Irvin got hurt, knowing what we now know about his injury....WE WOULD DO THE EXACT SAME THING!!! HA! HA! HA!

I suspect it's the jealous streak running deep inside iggle fans that the Cowboys were so good and dominated that division for so long. Like I said before, that one trade where the cowgirls got what, 12 draft picks for Herschel Walker got them those 3 super bowl wins in the 90s.

I think Irvin's one of the most entertaining, passionate announcers on football. I know he rubs some people the wrong way (read: Eagle fans), but he honestly knows the game, and doesn't pull punches like those clowns over on FOX.

to be honest with you axtell irvin kind of to much for me on espn. loved him as a reciever but not as an announcer.

i tell you this though Aikman does an awesome job so does the moose! please fire collinsworth and theisman!!

Completely wrong - not at all. I don't mind former Cowboys players in retirement or on other teams whatsoever. I only hate Cowboys players when they are current players in uniform playing against my Eagles.

I agree completely with you about Aikman. He's composed and never lets his personal bias (a la Chris 'the mouth' Collinsworth) get in the way. He lets the game unfold, and then comments on it...he doesn't get in the way of the action like most other announcers (especially those buffoons on ESPN Sunday night).

Holy cow you and I agree on something...stop the presses!

I would like to refute the argument about Philly fans being arrogant, rude, obnoxious, etc.

As a gesture of sportsmanship you are all invited to join me at one of the four Eagles home games to which I have tickets for '05.

Club seats - access to exclusive food and beverage vendors, heated. I'll even buy all of your beer. image

There is but one request - you must be dressed in the gear of the opposing team. image

She'd be much happier with a Bucs jersey with super bowl winning patch on it image

OK, before the wisecracks get too personal....that lady is the lovely Deanna, my wife who also is shown in my icon (although she looks much better in a bikini now). The beauty of living in South FL, we get to see scantily clad women every day.

I don't really mind the comments, and she has a good sense of humor also, having been in law enforcement for 15 years.

Deanna was a 49ers fan for years, although she has never been west of the Mississippi. She was a Montana/Young female fan hold out. Eventually she tired of me calling them the "4 and Niners" and asked if she could become an Eagles fan. You see we don't let just any bandwagon jumper into the club. I put her on probation until she proved her allegiance. Not even sexual favors could sway me, although I let her try!

She earned her full membership during this year's Super Bowl, when she proved that nothing will stop her from rooting for the Eagles. We were at her parents house watching the game. If you remember, a 14 year old kid did the coin toss. The Patriots players were talking to him before the toss. The kid kind of flubbed the toss and it bounced off his hand or something, or he did not toss it very high. New England won the toss I think. Deanna jumps up and exclaims "you fixed it because the Patriots were being nice, you f***ing brat!" Now, she talks like a sailor pretty often, but her father was sitting next to her and he is strict about his daughter's manners.

That was when I decided she is now a true Eagles fan. Anyone who berates an innocent teenager during the coin toss must be an avid fan. I love her dearly and she makes sure that we get to Philly for games every year, being the financial whiz that she is.

Just kidding about the personal comments.

But, I think that any woman who puts on a Cowboys jersey instantly takes on a striking resemblance to Roseann Barr.!

And the Bucs, are you guys familiar with the manatee aka sea cow. image
  • kuhlmannkuhlmann Posts: 3,326 ✭✭
Now that doesnt look like roseanne barr!!

PhillyFan - Sounds like you have a fantastic wife! Good story about the coin toss - she is definitely a true fan.

Why can't I meet a woman like that? The women I always date can't even name all the Eagles starters - I just won't tolerate ignorance like that image
