is anyone actively collecting this set? if so, what grades are you looking for and what cards? i'm planning to send some cards in from this set within the next week.

It is an underappreciated set, but tough to grade because of the checkered borders. I bought a lot of 10 PSA 9's for less than grading fees recently, but the stars should do well for you in PSA 9. The Jordan even in PSA 8 will sell as well. I figured this set would garner interest as people completed the 1986 set, but with no rookie cards to speak of, it may not ever take off. I chose the 1988 set instead as a little diversion, a few nice RC's in there (Pippen, Reggie Miller, Stockton, Rodman) - and the set grades a bit easier.

I am...let me know when u get the grades and who they are of......im doing it in psa 8-9...have all the star cards already so just looking to fill the commons holes...

word to the wise...dont expect to get more then 4 bucks for a psa 8....psa 9's go for 9.95 due to that being the minimum price set by foursharpcorners LOL.....10s go for alot but you rarely get those..this is truly a set you do cause you love it...not for investment purposes.

i was hoping for much better results coming from an unopened box (at least a few more 9's and 10's ).

for those of you that were looking for raw 87f bkb, i would assume them to be in NM - NM/MT condition. if you are still interested in raw or graded let me know. i can send scans this weekend.
