Two Ott lites were donated to my charity auction... since the bidding there is nearly over, I'm going to run the bidding on the two lights (which have been used lovingly) right here... they'll be shipped free from the donor. The retail on these lights is something like $70 each, I believe... this is a great chance to get two great lights, and help a great cause at the same time! I'll keep the bidding open until at least Saturday, but may keep it up longer if bidding stays strong.

Edited to add: These lights were donated by Shylock, and will be shipped by Mark Feld.

Let's start the bidding at $65 for the pair... less than half the cost of one lamp new in stores.

Ott lites provide some of the whitest, most natural light you can get... and it's very soft... great for all hobbies when seeing colors is important. Here's a sample setup using three of the lights (taken from Shylock)

Thanks for the pic Jeremy. Those are pretty cool lights. A lot cleaner than my 3 bulb set up on goose necks. What kind of payment is acceptable in this auction? Will you accept paypal, fund transfer (with fee's paid of course)?

Any payment will work. I programmed a calculator, so if you want to pay with paypal, I can get the total to pay, so, after fees are taken out, the amount in my account is the amount the item cost.

The lights which are the subject of this thread were originally given to me by forum member and photographer extraodinaire, Shylock.

Since that time, I have used other lighting equipment and he had given me permission to give the lights to someone else, rather than returning them to him. So, I thought they would be well suited for Jeremy's charity work.

Please give your recognition to the generosity of Shylock and the hard work of Jeremy.

PS - Robert, you could pay $1000 and it would still be a bargain if it helps your imaging even a little bit.
