1965 Baseball Set

I just bought my first PSA graded 1965, just a common, thinking of collecting that set. I am actually collecting the 1967 set, but have only just really started collecting that one in PSA 8 or better over the last few months, so I do not have that many, 15-20 so far. Before I get any deeper into the 67 set I was thinking of switching to the 65 set, like both of them almost the same was hoping to hear from those who are working on the 65 set on why they like it.

Thanks,

Stingray

Winpitcher is doing the 65 set - I think Lothar is also? You may want to ask people on the registry forum.

The only thing I say is - holy crap! Two large PSA sets will cost a mint! They are both great sets with loads of HOF'ers!

Good luck if you choose to do both sets.

I will have to stay with one, for some reason I have been drawn to the 65s, the more I look at them on Ebay.

    Stingray,

Let me know if you decided to switch to the '65 set and need to unload some '67's.

  • my advise would be to collect them both in lesser condition and just enjoy the cards. you could pick up both sets in ex condition for what you would pay to grade them! when given the choice to spend money on cards or getting them graded,i would always go for the cards!
