1956 Topps Baseball (grey vs. white backs)

I've recently began the undertaking of collecting 1956 Topps baseball. My question is, are you considered to have a complete set with a mix of the white and grey backs or do you need to have them consistent in card type to consider it a true set? I already did a search and ran across the following post.

It did have some good info that I wasn't aware of but it didn't really answer my question.
Thanks!

it dont matter..grey white..whatever....the grey backs are supposed to more rare in series one...while the white backs are definitely more rare in the 2nd series.....3rd through 5th series are all grey backs and no white backs were made for those series. Usually what happens is you will have a mix of white and grey backs for the first series and pretty much all grey thereafter...it dont matter though for the first series if you have grey or white backs..they are both pretty much equal in number and value.
