Does an OC card effect..

your overall GPA on a set for the set registrey? I'm looking at find/buy a 8 of a card that has a very low pop (2 with NQ and 4 with Q in 8, only a pop of 28 in all grades). The only card I have seen in the whole time I've been looking is an 8 OC. Any answer are appriciated

from 4-9 with a qualifier, it brings it down 2 grades (i.e. 9OC or 9 MK = 7)

you get dinged 2 points, so your 8oc would be the same as a 6. In lower grades (3 or 4 I think) you only get dinged 1 point.

Here's the entire breakdown for cards with a qualifier:

Additionally, the following point deductions are taken for Qualifiers. For example, if your card or ticket is graded PSA 9Q, the grade calculation in the Registry will be 7.

9Q = -2
8Q = -2
7Q = -2
6Q = -2
5Q = -2
4Q = -2
3Q = -1
2Q = -1
1Q = no deduction

Thanks for the table Mike. I'm having a hard time finding this card, the one I did find is a 8oc. I want just a straight 8, so I guess I get to wait even longer .

Yes, they are on Mike. I replied to ya . And the card I'm looking for is the felt initial card for 1958 topps football. I highly doubt I or anyone will be able to find one in psa 8, seeing as it has a pop of 2. That's why I was so excited about seeing the 8oc, even though it was oc. That is until I read the replies to this .

Is there really such thing as a PSA 1Q? What would be the point of qualifying the lowest possible grade?
