I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."

The same P.T. Barnum that's on a coin with $.50 face value that sells for thousands in high grades image.

I always thought the date/time stamp on the box was just a packaging date and has nothing to do with when they were struck.

    Cheers,

    *wow*

LOOK AT THE PRODUCTION NUMBER ABOVE DATE # 0000

As far as I can tell all the boxes start with 0000

no they dont i got some this weekend and they have the same 0000 at the top.i think the date has to be when it is packaged, because the date on my boxes is close to when they where shippedimage

So, do you think the nine unopened sets I have that have the date 2/11/05 are worth anything?

If it was packed on 2/11, would it not have been struck prior to 2/11? That makes it one of the very early strikes.

Please forgive my ignorance but what is important about that date?

    << <i>Early strike >>

Considering how long dies last, there's no telling what's an early strike or not...

Yep...first strike/early strike is such a marketing term.....unless you see the coin, you can't tell as the mint doesn't put something on each one saying "1st coin off the rollers", "2nd coin off the rollers". etc

    Still tempting to ebay them....heh

I am not sure these two roll sets are going to go up in price the way last year's did, so if you can sell them now for that kind of money, I would do it, then buy yourself some more sets either from the mint or from somewhere else for less money. JMO.
