Here's the 1796 Dollar. It really really does look much nicer than this flatbed scan and has been off the market for more than half a dozen years or so. What do you think is a good price for it?

Appears to be large date, small letters-your site has it in older pcgs vf30 holder-my guess is $4100.

Charlie, I think it's worth more than that.

It's all original and would end up in a differet hunk of plastic if let loose to the certain "real" dealer crowd who play those games. In my opinion of course

1796 Large date, small letters, B-5, BB-65. Looks undergraded. I'd say it's a XF40. Nice one, but that planchet defect at 8 o'clock.

ER, gives it character ( I'm serious) and isn't as the darn scan might suggest. I agree with the ugrade potential but I don't know about that 40. Vay thi o chinh giua vay.

Any serious St Gaudens buyers out there??

I have a beauty that will be posting sometime later when we get the chance!
