It must be because those Wild Card teams are hungrier than the division champs.

<< <i>The Yankees only need 3 great pitchers for the playoffs and they have them. Forget about Brown. I expect the Yankees will still win the division once they snap out of their funk. At least 3 of the games they lost they should have won. Axtell Rose, when are you going to snap out of your funk? >>
(1) where are these 'great' pitchers going to come from? While it's possible your newest man-crush big unit may show up and pitch this year, no one else on that staff is 'great'.
(2) My funk? Shouldn't you be asking when your spankees are going to pull their heads out and get out of their funk?
Unlike you, I've never come on here and bragged after a single win. Yes, in the predictions poll, I predicted Seattle winning the west (not more than my wanting them to). You haven't seen me brag that Moyer went 4-0 with a 3 ERA before losing last night, did you?
Look dude, you are a 'fan' when they win (is it any coincidence you are rarely seen here posting when the Yankees lose...yet they win over the A's, the second worst scoring team in the AL, and here come the spam posts by you.
And calling my Mariners Seattle Slew? I'll take that as a compliment, as Slew was one of the greatest runners EVER.
<< <i>You are full of it that I don't post when the Yankees lose. I guess either you can't read some words or you have a MENTAL block. >>
Wait, are you sure YOU aren't the one with the mental block spamboy?
I said:
" you are rarely seen here posting when the Yankees lose..." I didn't say you don't post here when they lose...I said 'rarely'. If you look at your post history, it's easy to see this 'coincidence'.
Why don't you just admit you're a fan when they win, and don't profess to care when they lose?
Not too good thus far.
