I am so confused!!!

OK, I see this auction on E-Bay for a PCGS graded Canadian coin. 1967 PR66DCAM $1 coin.

I have gotten 1967s back from PCGS in PL and SP but never a PR, and never with a disignation. What gives? I thought all the 1967 were SP or PL???
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • I keep getting confused with the designations from PCGS with my Canadian Submissions, if you check the number you get :-

The PCGS certification numbers you entered did not qualify for any current PCGS registry sets. If you would like to see a new set added, please email ....

    Ya, I'm confused too.

I've seen the 1967 PR coins, but they've always been in the older holders (green label), and was a historical misdesignation. But, this one looks new.

As far as I know, there are business strikes (MS), Prooflikes (PL) and Specimens (SP), though I can only differentiate two types myself.
