The 3 Amigos

The 3 Amigos...Tino, Jeter, and A-Rod all made errors in the 10th inning. Mariano was lights out in the 9th inning but in the 10th inning he was wild and did not pitch that great. This team is starting to remind me of the 1980's vintage Mattingly-Winfield teams.

Arod looked like a little leaguer on his error

Mariano threw so many pitches tonight i doubt he'll be used tommorow

It sure is strange to see the mighty Yanks suffer like this
  • we should have seen it coming.........this team is old. and the effects of the steroids are waring offimage

I almost feel bad now saying anything bad about the Yankees, as terrible as they are. I am starting to feel sorry for them. So, I'll refrain.

    For now.

See how defense is important at First? Tino does not normally make errors, so this was an aberration. Its always something different that makes the Yankees lose. Its not one particular item.

DeutscherGeist, you are correct. Sooner or later the law of averages will catch up with the Yankees and they will do better. It seems like nothing is going their way.

Yup, and it is important at pitcher too. Look at LaTroy Hawkins, throwing a ball off of Jose Offerman's head and costing the Cubs a game.
