My Browser's Having Trouble with eBay, Smart People Please Help

Hi Everyone,

For some reason beginning about 3 days ago, I get a "Run Time Error", "Error: 'SymRealWinOpen' is undefined" when I use the ebay search facility. I click No on the "Do you wish to Debug" prompt and everything works fine. I just keep getting the error and it's annoying. I can surf away at every other website with no issues. Only ebay. My computer is less than a year old. My browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer, by the way. image

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Have you downloaded anything or visited any websites with popup ads? If so, did this problem happen after you did said activities?
  • Di you get the browser to work?

That's the problem. Download Firefox. You can thank me later.
  • Try running AdAware.

  • Best advice above was to download Firefox. Or Opera. Or any other browser. But if you must use IE you can go into the Advanced Settings and "turn off" the automatic debug option so you don't get the annoying query.

Probably a good idea to avoid Firefox at the moment:

    Download Opera, you'll thank yourself.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I went with the most highly technical solution - I disabled the message in my options. I'm going to check into some of the other browsers that were mentioned.

Thanks again, this type of info is why I love these message boards.
