Sounds great. Don is my second most favorite vintage AFL receiver behind who else......

I guess I have a head start already considering he is on Alworth's 69' 4-1.

Here's an interesting comparison of Alworth and Maynard.
From a book that lists all the various AFL voting for all-pro each year :

So Alworth was clearly considered the better of the two receivers at the time.
I added George Sauer only because the voters considered him to be the Jets best receiver in 1966, 1967 and 1968.

No argument - Alworth was the man. Can you imagine the record books if Namath had been his QB.

When I was 12, got my picture with Don Maynard at Jets Training camp. Ever since then I have had a
special place for him.
