The 1875 1d proof is struck on a planchet that is thicker than the business strike. Does anyone know if any of the planchets used for the proofs were accidently used for business strikes? Wybrit? anyone else?

    Coinkat, I'm not aware of any. Gouby does not indicate any in his notes.
