Strange lot - BGS 10 4x10 and Griffey Elite PSA 9

I just picked up an interesting pair of cards. I had never seen a BGS 10 with 4 10 subs. I think the Griffey is a 1/1 also at PSA 9; the 1992 Donruss Elite series is pretty condition sensitive with the foil borders.

Me either. What did it cost?

  • Matt the Mets fan,

Good to know there are still a few Mets fans out there (like the Red Sox too?). I got the card a while ago, so I can't remember how I got it, but I don't remember giving up that much for it ($20 maybe... maybe trade).

Not to question you, but I thought you stated that you just picked up these cards?image

  • As in picked them out of a box I had sitting on a shelf. Sorry for the confusion. I don't think I would sell/trade them anyway.

On that issue - it is not unusual to have 3x10 and 1x9.5 4 10's isn't terribly difficult, as corners almost always 10s on that issue. It's just a matter of surface and edges. Check the pop report for the number of pristines generally from that issue
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
