I submitted a 1913-S T-1 Buffalo, with a "clip" under error svc.
Grade just posted this aftn. MS64. OK, so that's nice, but....
on a lark, I stuck it into my registry type set, and it was accepted..!
Have I missed something, somewhere?
Are error coins allowed in registry sets?
The verification box does, in fact, say "4% Clipped"
Learn sumthin' new, every day! I guess I need to take a nice pic of this Buff for the registry set.. Thanks for all the inputs!
I'm still doubly

They meet the series criteria, right?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Washington set.
In fact, I am presently working on a COMPLETE set of MS Ike errors.
Sounds like a really nice 13-S Type 1 64 error! Probably a lot more scarce and unique than any other
"regular" 13-S Type 1 64! Why build a "normal" set if you can mix in a couple of those "special" error coins.
I think it is a great way to make your set more challenging as well as give a a little uniqueness and character.
I have never thought too much about errors, but then started seeing them as "snowflakes"....no two look alike.
'Can be very tough and challengng,....especially in high grades.

I LOVE IKES!
I didn't know that, really. But, what then, does it do for the challenage, when the Pops of it show up as 538/327...??
There can't possibly be 538, 1913-S T-1 Buffs, certified with a clip error, can there? I'd like, somehow, to be able to see it show up as something unique, then. Else, it just looks to everyone that sees the set, as a normal MS64 Buff....!!!
<< <i>So does that mean I could use a 1995 Dbl Die MS68RD Lincoln instead of my 1995 MS67RD in my Memorial set?

No, that coin has it's own PCGS number. Mint Errors use the same number as their non-error counterpart, but have an E prefix and work in the same slots.
