I got an answer that makes sense. So nevermind.
I was recently given a very nice nickel (1945-D MS66) that had the Benson pedigree on it. I had no idea about the price of it so to get a guide I searched completed listings on eBay.. Now this is where it gets weird.. How can there be more than (1) 1945-D MS66 Benson nickel?
<< <i>PCGS will not pedigree duplicate coins. You must submit both the upgraded coin and the coin it will be replacing. The coin that will no longer remain in your set will be reholdered without the pedigree and returned to you along with the newly pedigreed coin. >>
After some more searching.. I found out there is bunches of them.. 71650618 through 71650831.. which makes 213 1945-D MS66 nickels..
